The Blue Parrot Komodo is absolutely outstanding for the price. There were no points that bothered us. It is warm and small, but well maintained. The man at reception had good restaurant tips and was extremely courteous. Everything was clean and spacious. The bed was fresh and we couldn't find any dirt or similar anywhere. The breakfast was homemade and delicious. I would recommend it to anyone in a heartbeat.Céline B2024-09-04Idéalement situé au calme à 5-10 min à pieds du centre ville et près du restaurant le flores. Très bon accueil par Sunni qui nous a donné plein de bons conseils et recommandations. La chambre était très correcte, confortable et propre. Les points forts : une petite terrasse au calme pour se poser devant la chambre, les petits-dej prêts à 6h pour notre excursion bateau. Wir wurden bei unserer Ankunft von einem kleinen Hundewelpen namens Chico begrüßt und direkt im Schlepptau kam auch schon Suni, der Inhaber der Pension. Er ist total nett und äußert Tierlieb, was in großen Teilen von Labuan Bajo leider sonst nicht der Fall ist. Den kleinen Chico hat er von der Straße aufgenommen und sorgt nun mit Herz und Seele für den kleinen. Es gibt in der Pension nur 3 Zimmer und daher ist es sehr familiär. Die Zimmer sind schön und mit allem was benötigt wird ausgestattet, uns hat es an nichts gefehlt. Die Klimaanlage war manchmal etwas lauter als gewohnt, aber das war für uns kein großes Problem. Das Frühstück war äußerst lecker und wurde von Sunis Team stets mit Liebe zubereitet und serviert. Der malerische Ausblick von der Lobby über Labuan Bajo ist wirklich einmalig. Schon bei unserer Ankunft war dies ein absoluter WOW-Effekt. Es gibt zwar kein Mittag- oder Abendessen im Blue Parrot, aber dafür versorgt euch Suni bestens mit Tipps wo man gut essen gehen kann. Suni ist ein sehr warmherziger und hilfsbereiter Mensch, mit dem man sich problemlos auf Englisch unterhalten kann. Wir fanden das Gesamterlebnis super und würden jederzeit wieder zu Suni kommen. Location really handy for fish market "grill the catch" stalls. Everything in the room crisp, clean and lovely. Let's see how breakfast goes, but have checked and our complimentary wake up coffee sachets are the real thing, not vile NoEscaffe, so we're off to good start already. It would appear this parrot is very much alive 😁
